Golden Gate History

The famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California, has been part of the architectural landmarks of the United States of America since its 1933 groundbreaking ceremony.  People from near and far know of the iconic bridge over the scenic Pacific “gateway” from the San Francisco Bay.   Many people believe that this bridge is the most beautiful of its kind in the entire world.  It is a symbol closely identified with California and with the Bay Area, and it just might be the most photographed bridge on Earth.
