I am a constant student of architecture. Have you ever seen that site about that Van Wilder guy that had been in college for eight years but didn’t have anything but associates degrees? Yeah that isn’t me. However, I am still going to college to take different forms of achitecture and learning as much as I possibly can about engineering in the process. The only way to make the next big architectural movement I have found is to cut the endless rejections out of the process and start with what you know you can do from an engineering standpoint and then use your knowledge as an architect to push the bar in the other direction. We all need structures so why not make them a distinguishing feature?
